Mr Seonbi ("we") is operated from South Korea. This page explains what we collect and why. Questions: hello@mrseonbi.com.
What we collect
Your free chart. Your birth date, birth time, and city are used to calculate your chart inside your browser. They are not sent to us or stored while you use the free preview.
The waitlist. If you join the waitlist, we store your email address and your Day Master symbol (for example, 庚), so we can write to you once when letters open. Nothing else.
Paid letters (when they open). To write and deliver your letter we will process your birth details, your email address, and your order details. Payments are handled by our payment provider; we never see or store your card number.
Why we use it
- To calculate your chart and write your letter.
- To send you the letter, or the one waitlist email you asked for.
- To keep basic records required by law (orders, refunds).
We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not build profiles of you.
Who helps us
- Cloudflare — hosting, storage, and email delivery.
- Anthropic — writes the letter text from your calculated chart (paid letters only). Your email address is not sent to it.
- Our payment provider — processes payments and taxes (paid letters only).
These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under their own data-protection terms.
How long we keep it
- Waitlist emails: until letters open and we have sent the launch email, or until you ask us to delete yours.
- Paid letters: as long as you may want to reopen your letter, and order records as long as the law requires. You can ask us to delete your letter and birth details at any time.
- Delivery records: when your letter was sent, opened, and downloaded, so we can confirm it reached you and help if it didn't.
Cookies
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. If we measure visits, we use privacy-friendly analytics that do not use cookies.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, or delete your data, or to stop receiving emails. Write to hello@mrseonbi.com; we reply within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK you can also complain to your local data-protection authority.
Age
Mr Seonbi is for people 18 and over, including the free chart. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18; if you think we have, write to us and we'll delete it.
